Join visual artist Olga Suchanova and discover a rare
the historical process of Anthotype printing.
Anthotypes are a photographic process invented by
the British scientist John Herschel in 1842. I will guide
you through extracting the emulsion from the plant
specimens to producing a finished print. After
the workshop, you will be able to take home and
use the skills you have learned to create your own art. Since
this unique process can take up to a week or more
to expose, each student will leave with their own framed
print to expose at home.
A selection of pre-picked plants will be available to use.
Chemigram and Lumen Printing Workshop

Come to learn experimental alternative
processes in the fields of art photography,
painting and etching. This 2-hour workshop
will explore how to paint with light and
photographic chemicals; and how everyday
household items and nature’s treasures can
be used to create mysterious and surprising
images. This workshop is created for those
who wants to explore more abstract side of
photography. It’s open to everyone and
no previous photography or darkroom
experience is necessary.
